Membership Eligibility
UPROOTED by Uncle Sam (UbyUSam.com) is a members-only community dedicated to those who have firsthand experience with the challenges of military relocations. Membership is restricted to individuals who meet at least one of the following criteria:

U.S. Military Veterans – Individuals who have served in the U.S. military and have experienced uprooting their family due to transfers during their service career.

U.S. Military Spouses – Spouses of military service members who have moved with the service member and/or have been left alone at a new location while their spouse was deployed or stationed elsewhere.

U.S. Military Children – Individuals who were relocated two (2) or more times during their parent’s military career.

To maintain the integrity and security of this community, we vet all members before granting access. Any attempt to misrepresent your eligibility may result in immediate removal from the community.

Do not disclose or distribute any personal information or discussions outside of this community without explicit permission.

2. No Harassment of Any Kind
Bullying, targeting, or attacking any member of this group will not be tolerated. Everyone deserves to feel safe and respected here. If you experience or witness harassment, please report it immediately to the moderators.

3. No Sales or Spam
This group is not a marketplace. Selling products, promoting businesses, or spamming members with unsolicited messages is strictly prohibited. Violators will be removed immediately without warning.

4. Respect One Another
Disagreements happen, but they must be handled respectfully. Everyone has different perspectives and experiences, and healthy discussions are encouraged. However, personal attacks, name-calling, and rudeness will not be tolerated. Be kind and courteous at all times.

Our group is a safe space for support and shared experiences, not a place for debates on divisive or controversial issues. Political, religious, or other heated discussions that may create conflict are not allowed. Members who violate this rule may be subject to removal.

Failure to comply with these terms may result in a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the community, depending on the severity of the violation. The moderators reserve the right to enforce these rules at their discretion.
